Negative Publicity : Companies Assume Difference Strategies to Deal With Crisis Management #5



In the business today, the competition is very high. Because each companies need to sell products more. So  there are two kinds of news in the business: positive news and negative news.

The first one, positive news is the thing that every companies need to have as to built good image for the companies. And also it can makes the public knows more about the companies by do nothing. The second one, negative news is the thing that every companies don't want to have because it will be the direct impact to the companies, such as the total sell and image of the companies will go down.

For example, there is one of the american man went to The One of News Station and begun to hit his car that was the Toyota car, it mean he had a problem with a Toyota car. Why did he has to go to The News Station?  Because he needs everyone in the world knew about negative news of Toyota.

Nevertheless, Toyota didn't be shocked, they did as an elaboration. They called the executives to meeting for solved this problem. After that Toyota announced for returned every cars that was the same with his car that complained them for checking the problem. And Toyota didn't talk anything about that problem.

Therefore, Toyota teaches us about we don't need to talk anything for making an excuse when we have a crisis. The crisis will silently disappear from the main media and the focus of people around the world by itself. So we need to appreciate the way that Toyota manages this crisis in the difference and professional way.
